Cinnamon Apple Crisps

This recipe is dedicated to one of my lifelong besties, Liz, whose passion for apples is contagious. Could you imagine life without apples? Liz can't imagine a day without apples. Which is probably why she's gorgeous. Full of fiber, vitamins, and natural sweetness, apples also contain pectin, which as I'm sure you're aware, about a million studies link with weight loss. As good as it tastes to bite into a fresh, juicy apple, there are so many other ways to enjoy apples; one being these delightful cinnamon apple crisps. They are perfect for traveling, toddlers, and in between meal hanger attacks. Bonus, they make your house smell amazing when they're being cooked!

Ingredients

4 apples, cored, sliced, keep skin on
2 tsp cinnamon
1 packet of stevia
coconut oil cooking spray

Serves

2 hungry toddlers + 1 teething baby + one on-the-go mama

Preperation Time

10 minutes

Method

Preheat oven to 200F
Place all sliced apples in tupperware container, then sprinkle on the cinnamon and stevia. Cover wit lid, and shake until well distributed.
Line a baking sheet with tin foil, then spray with coconut oil spray (other types of cooking spray can be used).
Arrange apples flat on the pan.
Bake for 2.5 hours or until your apple crisps reach desired crispiness.
Allow to cool, about 15 minutes.
Devour!
