Creamy Crunchy Smoothie Bowl

Smoothie bowls are having a real moment and for good reason. When created with wholesome ingredients like fresh fruit, vegetables, nutrient dense seeds, protein and heart healthy fats, they are the perfect way to start your day. You can get as creative as you like with your smoothie bowls by choosing 1/2 cup frozen fruit, 1 banana, 1/2 cup of any liquid you like (almond milk, coconut milk, water, juice, etc.) and adding your veggies (for this recipe I added a handful of kale and spinach, as well as cucumber and avocado. 1 cup frozen blueberries
1 banana
1 large handful spinach and kale
1/4 avocado
1/4 cup orange juice
1/4 cup water
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tsp honey (optional)

any toppings you wish!
I chose:
shredded coconut
goji berries
cacao nibs



Preperation Time

10 minutes


Combine first 8 ingredients in high speed blender. Pour carefully into a bowl. Add your toppings and finish with a drizzle of maple syrup or honey if you wish.
