Avocados, how I love thee. Heart healthy fats, skin glowing nutrients, immune boosting properties, folate, Vitamin K, Vitamin E, B Vitamins, plus the rich, creamy texture that makes my kids down whatever else is in their smoothie. Starting my day with a little AVO makes me feel like I am winning at life. Or at least keeping my kids from catching every little virus that comes across our paths. Here's the scoop:
Ingredients
4 cups unsweetened coconut or vanilla almond milk
1 bag washed spinach
1/2 cucumber
1/2 banana
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1 whole avocado
(add any boosters you like. Spirulina, chia seeds, pea or rice protein powder, maca all make excellent additions!)

whizz in blender until smooth. pour into sippy cups and be on your merry way!
